Medium voltage cables of all types

Medium-voltage cables are used in ordinary and industrial power distribution networks for their ability to transmit electrical power between 1000 volts and 36 kilovolts. They are also used in:

– Connecting remote power generation stations to the main grid.
– Connecting and transmitting electricity to remote locations away from substations.
– Areas with high temperatures.

Medium-voltage cables consist of stranded and compressed copper or aluminum conductors, surrounded by insulation made of cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) or polyvinyl chloride (PVC). The insulation is protected by an outer sheath made of polyethylene or polyvinyl chloride, or by stranded steel wires.

Medium-voltage cables are known for their ability to efficiently transmit large quantities of electricity, enabling networks to distribute power efficiently and sustainably. They significantly improve the quality of transmitted electricity and do not require periodic maintenance due to their high durability and efficiency.

Roaya Group works with several accredited manufacturers of cables such as Egypt Cable Company, Giza Cable Company, and ELSEWEDY, providing distribution and supply of medium-voltage cables. These cables come in various sizes and types, ranging from 3×95 XLPE 12/20KV or 18/30KV to 3×400 XLPE 12/20KV or 18/30KV, with different manufacturing materials including aluminum or copper. Single-core cables are also available, starting from 1×95 XLPE 12/20KV or 18/30KV to 1×500 XLPE 12/20KV or 18/30KV.
